Schedule Health Scan
A fixed-fee diagnostic drawn directly from your Primavera P6 XER export. One schedule, one data date, delivered in five business days with a 45-minute walkthrough call. No commitment beyond the scan itself.
- Full DCMA 14-point quality assessment
- Critical-path driver analysis, ranked by downstream impact
- Float distribution, logic density, hard-constraint review
- Forecast finish versus committed date, in plain calendar terms
- One-page executive report, with the evidence beneath it
Fee credit. The full Scan fee is credited toward any Validation or Optimization engagement begun within 60 days.
The Scan diagnoses; it does not remediate. Schedules requiring data remediation before analysis — corrupted calendars, unresolved baselines, or logic reconstruction — are quoted separately.
Three ways to work together
Each is delivered as a written scope with a fixed fee agreed before work begins.
Independent Validation & Audit
1–7 weeks
Is this schedule credible? Logic and critical-path review, baseline validation, resource and risk analysis, and earned-value readiness. For owners, lenders, and sureties who need an unbiased read.
You receive
Findings report, marked-up schedule, prioritized recommendations, and a review meeting.
Optimization & Acceleration
3–16 weeks
What is wrong, and how do we recover? Re-sequencing, resource leveling, critical-path compression, what-if scenarios, and acceleration strategy — from a targeted fix to a full re-baseline.
You receive
Optimized or re-baselined schedule, change log, implementation plan, and tracking recommendations.
Integrated Program
10–16 weeks + support
Is the whole controls system sound? Program-level scheduling, interface and change management, governance, and ongoing optimization across a multi-phase campus or portfolio.
You receive
Program schedule, governance recommendations, and a 60-day support period after delivery.
Scale positions the fee. It doesn't pick the tier.
The engagement model is chosen by the question you need answered — not by how many activities sit in your file. A 100,000-activity program can buy a straightforward audit. It simply prices at the top of the range.
| Schedule scale | Position in range |
|---|---|
| Up to 5,000 activities | Lower half |
| 5,000 – 25,000 activities | Mid to upper |
| 25,000 – 75,000 activities | Top of range |
| Over 75,000 activities | Range + scoping premium |
Weighed alongside scale
- Concurrent contractors and interfaces
- Resource- and cost-loaded schedules
- Update and revision cycles in the period
- Owner and cost-system integration depth
- Onsite days versus remote delivery
No surprises, by design.
A call, or a Health Scan against your live schedule. Either way you see the work before you commit.
Deliverables, duration, and a fixed fee agreed in writing before any work begins.
Senior-level execution, one revision round included. Scope changes proceed only under written change order.
Retainer support, P6 training, and controls implementation are available. Never assumed.
Fixed fee, written first
Scope defines the fee before work begins. Changes are handled by written change order, never absorbed silently.
Handled under NDA
Schedules, cost data, and project information are never published or used as reference material. Client owns every deliverable.
Signed by the principal
Specialist support is engaged as scope requires. Every deliverable is reviewed and signed by Daniel Hawkins.
Not sure which fits?
Most programs start with a Scan. Send a current XER export and we will tell you what the schedule says — then recommend the smallest engagement that solves it.
